Hi! My name is Andrew Litke. I am an assistant professor of Semitic languages in the Department of Ancient and Medieval Languages and Cultures at Catholic University of America. My research focuses on the intersection of text, language, and meaning in the Bible, its broader ancient Near Eastern context, and its reception in later Jewish and Christian literature.

I earned a PhD & MA in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures from Catholic University of America. Before that, I earned an MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and a BA in Religion from Furman University.

I live in Northern Virginia with my wife and two daughters.
